"Cry Wolf" is a dance-theater production that interlaces the urgency of climate change awareness with the classic narrative of "The Boy Who Cried Wolf." The project transforms the familiar fable into a contemporary allegory about the dangers of ignoring repeated warnings, both environmental and ethical. Through a blend of highly physical choreography, text, and direct audience interaction, the show challenges spectators to discern truth from deception amidst a flood of information. Utilizing humor, "Cry Wolf" explores themes of responsibility, misinformation, and communal consequence, making it a poignant commentary on the state of our world's climate discourse and democratic engagement.

Audience Reviews
“Your dress rehearsal Thursday night did not disappoint. A deep dive. Time flew by. The performance was over before feeling left my body. Astonishing... The narrative you develop is a beautiful look at fear on a lot of levels; the community of the fearful, the teaming up to overcome, breaking it down, the personal nature of fear, the idea that fear modifies behavior and the reflection of fear on our daily lives. What a rich subject - and important to understand.” - Shannon Flanagan (chairman of board of directors - at The Westside Theatre)
STAY WITH ME
Stay With Me, directed by Nicole von Arx, is an evening-length performance combining dance, theatre, pre-recorded text, and audience participation. Featuring a cast of five dancers, the show explores the longing for each other, our past selves, and our own peaceful consciousness. Bouncing between lighter and heavier scenes, the work weaves its way between play, hope, loss, and desire. Stay With Me reveals a series of personal vignettes where the performers attempt to physically connect to each other and with the audience. Amid our global unity, our human connections seem to be falling apart. A shared sense of yearning for our past lives, and our fear for what’s next, prevent us from moving forward.
Looking both backward and forward in time – Nicole von Arx and her truly exceptional collaborators will invite you to reconnect with the present.
