“Cry Wolf” is a dance-theater production that began as a research process in early 2024 in New York City and has since evolved to reflect the world we live in today. Rooted in “The Boy Who Cried Wolf”, the work embraces the fable’s inherent playfulness while reimagining its narrative to speak to our present reality. What happens when warnings are ignored, not because they are false, but because they have been drowned out?

Blending highly physical choreography, text, and direct audience interaction, “Cry Wolf” invites spectators to navigate a world where truth and deception blur. Can we still trust that the world we live in today will be the same tomorrow? Through humor, movement, and theatricality, the piece explores responsibility, misinformation, and the weight of collective consequence.

It’s a journey through shifting realities, where perception and belief shape the way we move forward…or don’t.
